The Alber Dress is a perfect combination of minimalist design and sustainable luxury. Made from the softest GOTS-certified organic cotton muslin, this long, sleeveless dress features a relaxed fit with a bodice adorned with irregular elastic gathering. The raw-edge neckline adds a modern touch, while the pattern’s unique square-cut construction eliminates fabric waste.

Raw-edge finishing means the fabric edges are left unhemmed, allowing them to naturally fray over time. This detail gives each garment a relaxed, evolving texture, adding character and softness with wear and washing.

The fraying will occur mainly in the first washes, stabilising over time while preserving the integrity of the garment. We embrace this as part of the piece’s life, reflecting a quiet, imperfect beauty that aligns with our commitment to thoughtful, low-waste design.

If you prefer a cleaner edge, you can trim any longer threads as needed after washing. Or choose the Albazer dress, which is similar but with no raw edge finishing.

  • Wash at 30°C, inside out with similar colors.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • The gathered muslin becomes even more beautiful after the first wash, with the fabric naturally crinkling into a wavy texture. No need to iron out these crinkles—simply steam the gatherings to enhance the pleats if desired.

The Alber Dress is made using a zero-waste cutting technique, ensuring no fabric waste is generated during production thanks to the square pattern.
